About Me
The Davidson County Arts Council awarded me an art scholarship my senior year at Ledford High School, which started an art adventure.
Graduating from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Commercial Design degree, I worked two years for a local ad agency, Tuttle & Tuttle, Inc. in Jamestown, NC, and later became a self employed, freelance artist in graphic design.
For 18 years I worked with companies such as Furniture Today, Lexington Furniture (Bob Timberlake and Arnold Palmer Furniture), and Sherrill Furniture, designing ads and catalogs.
Entering the public school system in 2015 as a Lateral Entry Teacher, serving Thomasville Middle School, where I taught and received my professional teaching license.
Transferring back to the Davidson County territory, where it all began, I'm delighted to be serving Welcome Elementary's children, where I have received such a warm welcome.
