Helene Neeley

 

My name is Helene Neeley and I love music! I have been teaching with Davidson County Schools since 2003.  I am currently based at Welcome Elementary.  In the music room, we are continually exploring music techniques, learning about great musicians, developing our musical skills, and becoming creative 21st Century Learners.

 

I graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Outside the classroom, I enjoy teaching private piano and oboe lessons and performing on these instruments.  

 

Fun Facts about me:

I have a grandson that I adore. I love to ride my horse and play with my dog and kitty.  I grew up on a dairy farm and loved to show cows at the fair.  I love making music with my students!!
