Tips for Reading At Home

1. Encourage your child to read by being involved in reading activities. Read to your child and have your child read to you (if he/she is ready). 

 

2. Discuss the book your child is reading. Ask your child questions before, during, and after reading.

 

3. Encourage a positive experience by reading in a quiet and comfortable place.
